D-9000-MIL-2 Combination Blind Rivet, Blind Bolt and Blind Nut Installation Tool Kit

Description

The D-9000-MIL-2 is FSI’s most complete field kit, providing hand mechanical, hand hydraulic, air-hydraulic and cordless blind riveters together in one convenient carrying case. The reason to specify it over a single-riveter kit is redundancy and reach: whatever power is or is not available at the point of repair, one of the four tools in the case will work. Weighing less than 35 lbs, it has been approved for use in the U.S. Army’s Standard Automotive Tool Set (SATS) and is currently in use by all U.S. military service branches.

The kit includes a wide variety of nosepieces permitting installation of nearly all single-action aerospace blind rivets thru 3/16" oversize diameter, including 1/4" diameter CherryMax®, as well as industrial blind rivets thru 1/4". Pull-up studs and driving anvils for UNC, UNF and metric threads allow installation of blind rivet nuts and inserts from 6-32 thru 3/8-16 and 5 mm thru 10 mm. Special right angle, offset and extended straight pulling heads cover all CherryMax®, Huck Clinch® and Allmax® blind rivets (M7885/NAS9300) thru 3/16" oversize, and an adapter is included for the MS20600 series self-plugging and NAS1400A rivet side ejection pulling heads (those heads are not included). The case is weather tight with a fastener and tooling selection chart permanently affixed to the inside lid.

Fastener capability: all CherryMax® thru 1/4", single-action blind bolts thru 3/16", blind nuts NAS1329/30 and MS27130/31, AVK, TSN® and Nutsert® style inserts 6-32 thru 3/8-16 and 5 mm thru 10 mm.
