D-700A/HS Installation Tool Kit for Hi-Shear Blind Bolts & Nuts

Description

The D-700A/HS hand hydraulic riveter uses FSI’s newest D-700C configuration with Vari-Max™ to give the user a compact, lightweight means of installing Hi-Shear® blind bolts (BN351/352 type) and blind nuts (BN360 series) up to 1/4-28 UNF thread size. It accepts the standard Hi-Shear® blind bolt anvils, chucks and mandrels (pull-up studs), so existing nose tooling carries over. At under 3.0 lbs excluding the Hi-Shear® nose assembly, it is no larger than most compact pistol-grip drill motors.

The tool is easily adjustable for fastener sleeve length and material thickness, and a built-in pressure control valve regulates the pull force to ensure proper installation without damaging threads. Each riveter comes with an adjustable pressure setting screw covering 600 to 5,000 lbs of pull force over an 0.800″ stroke. Rugged cast aluminum construction and field serviceability make it practical for sustained use, and the D-700A/HS can also be adapted to install a wide variety of aerospace and industrial blind rivets.
