Description
The D-700-366HL is the 1/4-28 configuration of FSI’s rivetless nutplate installation tool. Where a multi-size kit makes sense for a mixed workload, a dedicated single-size tool is the better choice for sustained production on one thread size: nothing to swap, nothing to set up wrong between installations, and a shorter cycle per fastener.
The tool installs a three-piece rivetless floating nutplate in a single action, producing enough pull force to fully seat the anti-rotational lobes on the sleeve into the work piece while simultaneously flaring the stainless steel sleeve to captivate the fastener. The resulting installation meets or exceeds the push-out, torque-out and tensile requirements of MIL-N-25027. A built-in pressure control valve regulates pull force, and the tool is adjustable for fastener sleeve length and material thickness. Field serviceable, and at 33 oz it minimises wrist effort across a long shift.
