D-700C Hand Hydraulic Riveter

Description

The D-700C evolved out of the D-100 blind riveter to answer a specific request from the field: more versatility, more reliability and a tool a technician can service without sending it back. Its two-stage valve system greatly reduces the wrist effort needed to set a wide variety of straight-pull blind fasteners — 30 lbs of wrist effort at a 3,000 lb fastener — while still delivering a full 5,000 lbs of pulling force over more than 3/4″ of stroke.

Every D-700C is supplied with the Vari-Max™ adjustable pressure control (F-700-VM), which lets the operator set pull force precisely anywhere from 600 to 5,000 lbf. That matters most when upsetting a blind rivet nut or threaded insert, where too much force strips the insert threads or the pull-up stud and too little leaves an inadequate upset. The Vari-Max™ control sits on the side of the tool opposite the release button. Standard components include the F130-700C nose tube, F122-A jaws, F126-F jaw holder, F1381 jaw pusher spring, F700-041 jaw follower and F188 adapter bushing; F123 three-piece jaws are recommended when installing all-aluminum 1/4″ diameter rivets.
