K-3000-MIL-1 Composite Material Repair Tool Kit with Vacuum

Description

The K-3000-MIL-1 is the K-3000 composite material repair kit supplied complete with its dust collection system. Composite dust is a respiratory and contamination hazard, and where the base K-3000 leaves the vacuum as a separate purchase, this configuration ships the portable ACE-400 vacuum system with 0.3 micron HEPA filtration in its own transport box. That makes it the version to specify for military and field use where the health and housekeeping requirement is not optional.

The kit is equipped with all the pneumatic tools, hand tools and accessories needed for repairs on all types of composite materials including Kevlar, using Clayton, Sioux and Dyna-Brade® vacuum pneumatic tools and shrouds that capture dust, debris and contaminants at the source. Installation and removal tooling covers blind rivets (Cherry Maxi-Bolt® and Huck type stainless steel and titanium blind bolts), Composi-Lok II® fasteners and Hi-Shear® (Hi-Lok/Hi-Lite) fasteners up to 1/4" diameter, and the bonding station is built on the HCS8800 portable hot bonder. Everything is supplied in router-cut foam for rapid inventory and tool control.
