Description
The K-1000-1 is the fastener removal module of FSI’s K-1000 sheet metal system. Removal is where airframe repair starts and where most of the damage gets done — a drifted drill or the wrong collar remover turns a routine job into a hole repair. This kit carries the dedicated removal tooling for each fastener family rather than a general drill set, which is what keeps the parent structure intact.
Coverage spans blind rivets, Hi-Lok and Hi-Lite collars, Jo-Bolt fasteners and solid AD rivets. Dedicated removal kits are included for Jo-Bolts (F3060RIK) and Hi-Loks (F3539A-8), along with threaded collar removers in 1/8″ through 1/4″, knock-out punches, and a rivet shaver kit for flush work. A D-180 hand hydraulic riveter is carried in the tray so the technician can reinstall without opening the installation box.
