Description

The D-700-MIL-2 evolved directly from the D-100-MIL-2 blind rivet kit, replacing the D-180 riveter with the more capable D-700C and its two-stage smart power valve. The result is a kit that installs both blind rivets and single-action blind bolts with markedly less wrist effort, while remaining field repairable — a meaningful advantage for units that cannot afford to have a tool out of service. Made in the USA.

The kit’s defining feature is the set of special CherryMax® right angle, offset and extended straight pulling heads covering all sizes thru 3/16″ oversize diameter. Beyond that, the D-700C is easily adapted to install wire draw rivets thru 3/16″ diameter, including CherryMax® “AB”, Avdel MBC, Cherrylock® “A” code and Avdel Interlock® blind rivets. The riveter accepts any of the nosepieces and accessories supplied in the D-100 series kits, so a shop already holding D-100-MIL-1 or D-100-MIL-2 tooling can share inventory across both.
