Description

The D-100-MIL-1 is the entry configuration of FSI’s long-running military blind fastener installation kit, built around the D-180 hand hydraulic riveter. Introduced in 1983 and still a standard in aircraft and aerospace repair, the kit gives a technician over 5,000 lbs of pulling force with no external power source of any kind — which is what makes it viable for flight line, field modification and battle damage repair work. Originally developed for military applications, it has since been adopted by commercial airlines, private aircraft and helicopter fleet owners, and aerospace manufacturers’ field repair teams.

The kit supports both the standard riveting configuration (F130-F nose tube, F126-F jaw holder, F124-A sleeve spring, F122-A two-piece jaws and nosepiece) and the nutsetting configuration (driving anvil, F171 turn nut, F170-A master shaft and pull-up stud). An adapter is included so the tool can be used with the right angle, offset and extended straight pulling heads for CherryMax® and Huck-Clinch® blind rivets — those heads are not supplied in this kit, but dedicated space is provided in the case so they can be added later.
