K-3000 Composite Material Repair Tool Kit

Description

The K-3000 is FSI’s composite material repair kit, equipped with the pneumatic tools, hand tools and accessories needed to complete repairs on all types of composite materials including Kevlar. Composite repair generates dust and debris that conventional sheet metal tooling simply spreads around, so the kit is built around Clayton, Sioux and Dyna-Brade® vacuum pneumatic tools and shrouds that capture contaminants at the source for a cleaner and safer workplace.

Beyond material removal and surface preparation, the kit carries installation and removal tools for blind rivets (Cherry Maxi-Bolt® and Huck type stainless steel and titanium blind bolts), Composi-Lok II® fasteners and Hi-Shear® (Hi-Lok/Hi-Lite) fasteners up to 1/4" diameter, plus a complete Heatcon bonding station with portable hot bonder, vacuum pump, digital scale and heat blankets in 10", 15" and 18" squares. Everything is supplied in router-cut foam for rapid inventory and tool control.

• Tray 2 — Clayton sanders (3" and 5"), Sioux pneumatic drills (500 and 2200 RPM), Sioux router and die grinders, Dyna-Brade® pencil grinder, Dyna-Brade® 90° threaded drill
• Tray 3 — Composi-Lok II® installation & removal kit, diamond countersinks and cutting disks, 1/4" and 1/8" carbide rotary file kits, Hi-Lok/Hi-Lite installation & removal kit, cordless blind bolt installation tools
