Description
The Cherry® G85D-S is the split configuration of the G87D heavy-duty lockbolt riveter. The larger power unit sits on the floor away from the structure while the operator handles a 4.3 lb head — a decisive ergonomic advantage on heavy fasteners in tight quarters.
It carries the largest stroke in the lockbolt range at 0.720 inches and delivers 7,000 lbs of pulling force. The large bayonet mounting system is shared with the G87D and compatible with the Huck® 353, so pulling heads carry across both tools.

Applications
Heavy lockbolt installation in confined airframe structures where the weight of an in-line heavy-duty riveter is impractical.
