K-1000-H Sheet Metal Mechanics Roll-Around Tool Kit

Description

The K-1000-H puts FSI’s complete sheet metal mechanic’s tool set into a roll-around hangar box, which is the right format when the tools live in a maintenance bay rather than travelling in transit cases. It carries all the pneumatic and hand tools needed to install and remove blind rivets (CherryMax® and Huck type blind bolts), solid AD fasteners, Jo-Bolt® fasteners and Hi-Shear® fasteners up to 1/4" diameter, supplied in router-cut foam for rapid inventory and tool control.

The box has five drawers, each partitioned to hold two trays, with individual lock-in/lock-out latches and a hinged bar so every drawer can be secured with a padlock. Two fixed and two swivel casters with 6" polyurethane wheels and tread locks allow positioning at a work station or aircraft dock, and a push/pull bar is attached. Drawers are built on a carriage system guaranteed against failure and rated to 400 lbs each fully extended.
