Aircraft Repair Light-String Kits

Description

Aero-Land light string kits give maintainers permanent, aircraft-specific work lighting instead of the tangle of extension cords and portable lamps that normally accumulates around an airframe in work. Each kit is built to the geometry of one aircraft type: continuous strands routed to the areas technicians actually work in, with intermittent electrical drops along the run so only one cord enters the aircraft. That single change removes the trip hazards and cord clutter that cause both delays and FOD findings.

The strings use Lexan light guards and 23 W Teflon-coated fluorescent bulbs. The Teflon coating contains the glass if a bulb is struck, which is what makes these kits compliant with FOD safety standards — an uncoated bulb breaking inside a wheel well or bomb bay is a foreign object event. Every kit ships in ALSB-5441 hard-side carrying cases with casters, with bulbs in dedicated ALBB storage cases so they survive transport between hangars.
