K-3000-H Composite Material Repair Maintainers Tool Box

Description

The K-3000-H is the roll-around maintainer’s box configuration of FSI’s composite material repair kit, suited to a maintenance bay where the tooling stays in place rather than travelling in transit cases. It carries the same capability set as the K-3000 — vacuum-shrouded pneumatic tools for dust capture, hot bonded repair equipment, and installation and removal tooling for Composi-Lok II®, Hi-Lok/Hi-Lite and blind bolt fasteners up to 1/4″ diameter — organised into lockable drawers.

The pneumatic complement runs vacuum shrouds and backing pads in 1″, 2″ and 3″ sizes plus drill shrouds and a router shroud, all fed by an adapter hose and six 2 ft extension hoses stored in the top drawer. The bonding station is built on the Heatcon HCS8800 portable hot bonder with eight thermocouples and USB data drive, running on 110 V or 220 V, supported by a 12 VDC portable vacuum pump, vacuum sniffers, gauge and heat blankets in three sizes.
