Description

The PT-100-MIL-5 packages the PT-100 air hydraulic riveter with the three CherryMax® special pulling heads that make it usable on real airframe geometry. Designed primarily for civilian and military organizations working at intermediate and general support level on air and ground vehicles, the kit delivers 4,000 lbs of pulling force in a 30 oz tool whose light weight and compact size allow use in limited access areas that would otherwise demand costly special adaptive tooling. Made in the USA.

The PT-100’s patented multiple-valve cylindrical hydraulic pump assembly permits stroke control: the nose assembly advances only while the trigger is depressed, letting the operator monitor and control stroke length as the installation requires. A releasing trigger ejects the stem after the rivet is set, providing positive stem retention that aids FOD prevention. The tool operates most efficiently on 90 to 120 psig shop air.
